Antique early-20th Century Russian Faberge solid silver-gilt & jade box, rectangular form, the lid set with neo-classical style inspired, centred ornament, with four rosettes in each corner and gilt plain borders. Hallmarked silver 88 (915 standard), Moscow, year 1899-1908, Assay Master Ivan Lebedkin, Makers mark in Cyrillic K.Faberge (Faberge has always been synonym of opulence and finest quality. The combination of precious materials and supreme craftsmanship applies both to non-utilitarian objects such as eggs, miniature animals and flowers and practical utility items.
