19th Century Victorian lignum vitae inkwell modelled as the head of a bulldog with realistic glass inset eyes, original leather collar with a copper push-button and a silver presentation plaque to the back (In French) 'A ME E.DE LACROUSILLE, SOUVENIR DE MOREAU, ARTISTE DRAMATIQUE, 9 DEC 1878. The head is hinged and opens to reveal an empty brass and glass ink pot, within an insert compartment.

Antique mid-19th Century Victorian lignum vitae inkwell modelled as the head of a bulldog with realistic glass inset eyes, original leather collar with a copper push-button and a silver presentation plaque to the back (In French) 'A ME E.DE LACROUSILLE, SOUVENIR DE MOREAU, ARTISTE DRAMATIQUE, 9 DEC 1878.
