A rare and superb Montblanc Limited Edition "Patron of Arts" Fountain Pen, celebrating John Pierpont Morgan, one of the most influential financial magnates during America's "Golden Age" and an enthusiastic lover and patron of the arts, he founded the Morgan Library in New York (please follow this link).

The barrel is 925 sterling silver, with a sterling silver cap with carbon fibre woven decoration.

The 18 Karat Solid Gold nib is hand-engraved with an "M".

The pen is in great condition, like new, difficult to tell if it has ever been used, it comes with the original wooden display box, outer card and booklet. The model dates to 2004.

It is a Limited Edition number 1792 / 4810.
