DESCRIPTION

A rare and superb Montblanc Limited Edition "Patron of Arts" Fountain Pen, celebrating Andrew Carnegie, considered one of the greatest patrons of culture in the modern world, he spent more than 350 million dollars - almost his entire fortune - for cultural foundations, public libraries and fostering talented artists (please follow this link).

The black resin pen is embellished with a high-relief sterling silver fretwork, the clip depicting a female figure, recalling the "Art Nouveau" style that Carnegie supported.

The 18 Karat Solid Gold nib is engraved with an lily. The pen is in excellent condition, like new, never used, it comes with the original wooden display box, outer card and booklet. The model dates to 2002.

It is a Limited Edition number 2503 / 4810.
