A rare and superb Montblanc Limited Edition "Patron of Arts" Fountain Pen, celebrating Nicolaus Copernicus, one of the greatest Renaissance astronomer who formulated a model of the universe that placed the Sun rather than the Earth at the centre of the Universe (please follow this link).
The antracite coloured lacquer is embellished by nine sterling 925 silver rings, the silver clip is embellished by a meteorite stone, the cap is inlay with a mother-of-pearl Montblanc star.
The 18 Karat Solid Gold nib is engraved with a sun.
The pen is in excellent condition, like new, never used, it comes with the original wooden display box, outer card and booklet. The model dates to 2003.
It is a Limited Edition number 2395 / 4810.
