Over recent years the brand has been relaunched and has taken the world of fashion by storm. The original E. Goyard firm was a trunk maker which rivalled Louis Vuitton and the trunks it made at the time ooze the same quality and finesse as its (now) more famous competitor. This is a chance to own one of the best trunks available on the market both in terms of rarity and condition.
CONDITION
Fair overall vintage unrestored condition. Chevron pattern has come away in parts where travel stickers used to be, mostly noticeable on the top of the trunk. Dents and scrapes throughout but not major defects, the right hand side clasp is a later replacement. Lacking key. Areas of damage or period restoration to the leather. Please refer to photographs.
