ANTIQUE 20thC RUSSIAN SOLID SILVER & PICTORIAL ENAMEL PILL BOX, 20 ARTEL c.1910
20th Century Imperial Russian silver and hand painted enamel, cushion shaped pill box, all side decorated with traditional Russian stylised flowers, foliage, geometric designs in polychrome cloisonne' enamel, the lid is hand painted with a rose surrounded by a white beaded boarder, the snuff box is richly parcel gilded inside.

Antique early-20th Century Imperial Russian solid silver and hand painted enamel, cushion shaped pill box, all side decorated with traditional Russian stylised flowers, foliage, geometric designs in polychrome cloisonne' enamel, the lid is hand painted with a rose surrounded by a white beaded boarder, the snuff box is richly parcel gilded inside.
Hallmarked Russian silver 84 (875 standard), Moscow, year 1908-1926, Maker's mark 20A, (20th Artel), Its style is often very similar to the one of the 11th Artel. As the 11th Artel, also the 20th specialised in enamel tea and coffee sets and spoons, tea strainers and kovshi in the typical Russian style, often combined with Art Nouveau leaves and flowers motifs.
