20th Century Russian Art Nouveau silver and hand painted champleve enamel pill box, all side decorated with stylised floral design, the lid set with a thumbpiece, the snuff box is richly parcel gilded inside.
Hallmarked Russian silver 84 (875 standard), Moscow, year 1908-1926, Maker's mark for Ivan Khlebnikov.

Antique early-20th Century Russian Art Nouveau solid silver and hand painted champleve enamel pill box, all side decorated with stylised floral design, the lid set with a thumbpiece, the snuff box is richly parcel gilded inside.
Hallmarked Russian silver 84 (875 standard), Moscow, year 1908-1926, Maker's mark for Ivan Khlebnikov. Born in St. Petersburg, son of a diamond and jewellery merchant. By 1865 he had his own jewellery firm, where he employed his sons Mikhail, Alexei and Nikolai.
