19th Century Imperial Russian silver & niello enamel large cigarette case, parcel gilt, each side decorated with a niello enamel decoration, the cover depicting view of the Kremlin surrounded by flowers, reverse with a vacant cartoosh for owners initials, the sprung hinge is very tight and kept closed with an overlapping hinged latch. Hallmarked Imperial Russian silver 84.
