19th Century Russian silver-gilt cup, of inverted pair shape, decorated with large scrolled shields with a vacant catrouche, the handle realistically modelled as a vine branch, applied with leaves and flowers, standing on a wide domed foot, richly gilt throughout.
Hallmarked Russian Silver 84 (875), St-Petersburg, year 1849, Maker's mark in Cyrillic NC.

Antique mid-19th Century Russian solid silver-gilt cup, of inverted pair shape, decorated with large scrolled shields with a vacant catrouche, the handle realistically modelled as a vine branch, applied with leaves and flowers, standing on a wide domed foot, richly gilt throughout. Hallmarked Russian Silver 84 (875 standard), St-Petersburg, year 1849, Maker's mark in Cyrillic NC (Unknown Maker), later polish marks.
