Antique 19th Century Imperial Russian solid silver tea glass holder of a cylindrical form, beautifully applied with pierced and engraved boarders, on shaped supporting feet and applied handle also in cylindrical form with added thumb piece adorning the top. Inscribed with a comical inscription "N.F. Lampie - 1st Prize From Ova, For Shooting at the Firewood". Hallmarked Russian silver 84 marks (875 standard), St Petersburg Assey Mark, year 1894, Maker МИ (Maxim Ivanov or Michail Ivanov, active 1874-1890)
