19th Century Imperial Russian silver two piece tea set, comprising of teapot and covered sugar bowl, each pair shaped body densely engraved with scroll decoration on matted ground, both sides with vacant gilded cartooches and applied with gilded scroll handles. Interior richly gilt and domed lids mounted with button shaped finials.

Hallmarked Russian silver 84 (875 standard), Moscow, year 1890, Assayer's mark Lev Oleks, Maker's mark F.Y for Fedor Yartsev.
