ANTIQUE 18thC GERMAN 18k GOLD & ENAMEL SNUFF BOX, HANAU c.1780

18th Century German 18k gold snuff box, of oblong form, the lid, sides, top and base applied with translucent royal blue enamel panels over a wavy engine-turned ground, elegantly painted in gold with paillon sprays of flowers within white boarders. Hallmarked with marks identical to one in Musee Cognac-Jay.

ANTIQUE 20thC FRENCH EMPIRE SOLID SILVER & GLASS BOWL, PARIS c.1900

20th Century French Empire style silver large centerpiece bowl. The inverted fluted glass, mounted with a pierced silver rim and decorated with flowers, beads, ribon tied, reeded boarders with x-junctions, standing on a flat silver mounted base in complimentary design.

Hallmarked French silver (950), Paris, Makers Mark GB (possibly Gaston Bardies).
