20th Century Japanese Meiji period silver monumental bowl, exceptional and magnificent quality, double walled on shaped base, applied with silver and enameled wisteria, irises, and swimming ducks on matted ground, engraved on base "Purchased by William Rhinelander Stewart from the Japanese Exhibit at the St. Louis Exposition June 20th 1904. Made by Miyanoti Katsu of Tokyo, also stamped with the maker's mark of turtle in triangle for Sanju Saku, Yokohama.

Antique early-20th Century Japanese Meiji period solid silver monumental bowl, exceptional and magnificent quality, double walled on shaped base, applied with silver and enameled wisteria, irises, and swimming ducks on matted ground, engraved on base "Purchased by William Rhinelander Stewart from the Japanese Exhibit at the St. Louis Exposition June 20th 1904.
