20th Century Japanese Meiji period silver & gold inlayed box, lid and sides in relief and engraved with a blooming lily amongst blossoming cherry tree branches, applied with 24ct gold details on plain polished ground, dark wood lined base and interior.
Hallmarked with the Junjin marks (950+ high grade silver), Maker Miyamoto Skoko.

Antique early-20th Century Japanese Meiji period solid silver & gold inlayed box, lid and sides in relief and engraved with a blooming lily amongst blossoming cherry tree branches, applied with 24ct gold details on plain polished ground, dark wood lined base and interior. Hallmarked with the Junjin marks (950+ high grade silver), Maker Miyamoto Skoko, active in Tokyo (1880 - present), high class manufacturer and retailer who held the Royal Warrant as the suppliers to the Imperial household, a rare privilege at the time.
