19th Century Swiss three-coloured 18k gold snuff box, rectangular shaped with canted corners, the cover, sides and base set with panels of chevron-pattern engine-turning, the four corners chased with vari-colour gold urns draped with laurel swags, the cover centred with an oval chased vari-colour gold medallion on a sablé ground depicting the Punishment of Cupid, within slightly raised vari-colour gold foliate sablé borders.

Antique early-19th Century Swiss magnificent & large three-coloured 18k gold snuff box, rectangular shaped with canted corners, the cover, sides and base set with panels of chevron-pattern engine-turning, the four corners chased with vari-colour gold urns draped with laurel swags, the cover centred with an oval chased vari-colour gold medallion on a sablé ground depicting the Punishment of Cupid, within slightly raised vari-colour gold foliate sablé borders.
