Antique early-19th Century German 18k (750 standard) gold snuff box, of rectangular form with cut corners. The front applied with a plaque depicting an agricultural scene, a rooster and hen perched on a felled logs, in front of a grape vine tree and wine barrel.

Antique early-19th Century German 18k (750 standard) gold snuff box, of rectangular form with cut corners. The front applied with a plaque depicting an agricultural scene, a rooster and hen perched on a felled logs, in front of a grape vine tree and wine barrel. This is surrounded by floral a border and engine turned decoration. There is engine turned decoration engraved with circular motifs on the rear. Makers unknown.
