19th Century French 18K two-colour gold & enamel snuff box, of rectangular form with cut corners, the hinged covers beautifully engraved with engine turned decoration, the slightly convex sides chased with bands of acanthus leaves, top decorated with enamel. Hallmarked with French eagle gold marks (750), unknown maker.

Hallmarked with French eagle gold guarantee marks (750 standard, used 1838-present), unknown makers mark.
