Antique late 18th Century French magnificent three-coloured 18k gold snuff box, of round form, on both sides engraved with engine turned decoration, within flowers and laurel leaves boarders. Hallmarked with French guarantee marks (750 gold standard), the box dates to the 1790, Makers mark unknown to me. Later engraved ‘December 15th 1886, From Mrs A.J.H’.
