18th Century French 18k gold & enamel snuff box, oval shaped, the cover set with a miniature with the presentation of the sacrifice of Iphigenia, sides and base set with panels of translucent red enamel over a moiré pattern engine-turned ground within white enamel and gold bead boarders, borders set with trailing gold flower-heads amidst translucent green enamel foliate borders.
