Antique early 20th Century German solid silver, ceramic, and boar tusk ashtray with a large match box holder. Circular in form, featuring a dark red ceramic ashtray and tray, with silver rim. Fitted with a match box holder to one side and a mounted boar tusk handle to the other. A striking piece of tobaconalia and barware, both functional and decorative, ideal for collectors and modern interiors alike. The ceramic is marked on the underneath "CADINEN". Made in the Cadinen Majolica Factory. Hallmarked German solid silver (800+ standard), "Crescent and crown" (Halbmond und Reichskrone). Makers mark HB (Hermann Bauer).
