A 20th Century drinks trolley, made by Belgo Chrome, featuring a two-tone brass and chrome frame supporting two glass shelves. The novelty feature of this particular item is the hidden tray on the top shelf. Two handles at either side emerge from the frame to make it easy for the user to extract the top glass shelf and use it as a portable tray. Belgian manufacturer Belgo Chrome (sometimes seen written as Belgo Chrom) have been producing high end furniture since the 1960’s and are renowned for their designs in brass, copper, polished and stainless steel. Known as “Hollywood Regency” their designs over the last 20 years have increasingly bridged the gap between contemporary and neo-classical and as such match a wide range of decors.
