DESCRIPTION

An articulated artist’s mannequin or lay figure of a woman, made in France in the mid to late 20th century. The whole mannequin has been constructed in resin and Bakelite with a painted wood effect, giving all the charm of an full sized antique lay figure in wood for a fraction of the price. Figures like these were (and still are) used by artists as an alternative or in addition to real life models when painting. Today they have charm and character and are a fun addition to any room, or shop display, or even just to give scale in photography studios.

Please note that our interior pieces are located at our Interior Design Showroom in Buckinghamshire, if you wish to see them in real life please contact us to arrange an appointment.
