DESCRIPTION

Rare and original vintage Hermes Paris “Gouvernail” ship’s wheel wall clock and matching barometer. The clock encases an 8-day mechanical movement, made probably by Jaeger Lecoultre (usually all Hermes clocks used JLC movements).

Hermes introduced this clock in 1940's. This is the most original, old and biggest version of this clock, the diameter is 18″ (46 cm). Showing a beautiful dial with engraved Arabic numerals, twice signed “Hermes Paris”. To find it with the matching barometer is very unusual as not many were made. Both items ooze class, elegance and quality.

Please note that our interior pieces are located at our Interior Design Showroom in Buckinghamshire, if you wish to see them in real life please contact us to arrange an appointment.

CONDITION

The clock and barometer appear to be working perfectly. However they have not been tested and therefore will be sold as "not working".
