A beautiful illuminating globe on a chrome stand, made in Italy around the early 1980's. The large luminous globe is made out of fibreglass and stands on a chromed metal base. It depicts the representation of land and political geography at a scale of 1: 32,000,000 and has a mobile meridian, which makes it easy to rotate at will. A lovely collectors’ item which is both decorative and didactic.
