CHINESE SOLID SILVER & CLOISONNE ENAMEL EXCEPTIONAL CASED SAKE SET ON TRAY c1970
20th Century Chinese Silver gilt sake, rice wine or coffee set, comprising of a large coffee-pot / ewer, eight goblets and a large tray. Each piece is richly gilt and extremely decorative, part-fluted and chased with scrolling foliate, set with turquoises and stunningly cloisonne' enamelled with flowers in high-relief. The large jug has a pull-off lid in the same style, the body is applied with two extraordinary shaded enamelled cats amongs flowers and butterflies, incredibile workmanship (no losses or wear, please see pictures). Hallmarked Chinese silver (stamped SILVER), the jug also stamped "Made in China", each piece also bears Finnish import marks (830 standard), year 1973 (V7), Importer's mark "Aco".

The set is in perfect condition, complete and very rare as it comes in the original fitted box.
Each part is Hallmarked Chinese silver (stamped SILVER), the jug also stamped "Made in China", each piece also bears Finnish import marks (830 standard), year 1973 (V7), Importer's mark "Aco" (unknown to me).
