ANTIQUE 20thC RARE CHINESE EXPORT SOLID SILVER DRAGON ICE BUCKET & TONGS c.1910
20th Century Chinese Export Silver large ice bucket, swing handle, the sides are chased in high relief with a large dragon chasing the pearl of wisdom, matted ground. The bucket is fitted with the original strainer and has the original large tongs, modelled as dragon's claws.
Hallmarked Chinese silver ("STERLING", 900+ standard), Maker's mark NANKING STORE.

DESCRIPTION
Antique early-20th Century rare Chinese Export Solid Silver large ice bucket, swing handle, the sides are chased in high relief with a large dragon chasing the pearl of wisdom, matted ground. The bucket is fitted with the original strainer and has the original large tongs, modelled as dragon's claws.
The pearl is engraved with initials "JH", with sovereign crown above (stating an important provenance).
