ANTIQUE 20thC CHINESE EXPORT SOLID SILVER THREE PIECE TEA SET c.1900
20th Century Chinese export silver three piece tea set, comprising of teapot, lidded sugar bowl and milk jug, each tree-trunk shaped body applied with prunus flowers and applied with decoration in relief, spout, handles and finials modelled as tree branches, outstanding quality and very heavy gauge, inside richly gilt. Hallmarked with Chinese Export marks (900+ silver standard), Artisans Mark for Hong Xiang and Kwong Kee.

Antique early-20th Century Chinese export solid silver three piece tea set, comprising of teapot, lidded sugar bowl and milk jug, each tree-trunk shaped body applied with prunus flowers and applied with decoration in relief, spout, handles and finials modelled as tree branches, outstanding quality and very heavy gauge, inside richly gilt. Hallmarked with Chinese Export marks (900+ silver standard), Artisans Mark for Hong Xiang and Kwong Kee. We had the pleasure to own a similar set in the past which was retailed by Tuck Chang and made by the same silversmiths.
