19th Century Chinese export silver tea kettle, chased in relief with floral bamboo decoration and various birds perching on tree branches, the domed lids mounted with bamboo finial. The kettle is suspended on a stylized, well constructed bamboo stand, with a removable functioning burner.

Hallmarked with Chinese silver marks, Maker mark for Luen Wo.

DESCRIPTION

Antique 19th Century Chinese export solid silver tea kettle, chased in relief with floral bamboo decoration and various birds perching on tree branches, the domed lids mounted with bamboo finial. The kettle is suspended on a stylized, well constructed bamboo stand, with a removable functioning burner.
