19th Century Burmese, Myanmar Silver repousse' bowl, large size and particularly heavy gauge, repousse' decorated in high relief with scenes from the Burmese mythology, representing various figures and animals in a landscape, with very detailed battle scenes.
Acid tested. shows a high 900+ standard silver purity, judging by the quality and style the bowl dates to the 1880's. The base is signed on the base, possibly by the silversmith.
