19th Century Victorian Silver Plated & glass impressively large and decorative Vestal virgins temple centerpiece, raised on a circular foot, the temple-shaped body with four arch is set with four cast figures of Roman Vestals, surmounted by the large comport bowl centered by the enormous cut and etched glass vase, hand engraved bands. This is a rare and extraordinary piece, very decorative, unusually large size and high quality of the workmanship. The base is stamped "Elkington & Co", it dates to year 1880's.
