19th Century Georgian silver hot water samovar, inverted pear shaped on a round base, cast scroll feet, body profusely chased in relief with flowers, shell and acanthus leaves, applied with large twin leaf caped c-shaped handles, a hot water spout with a cast hinged shell handle and the large finial in complimentary style. The front of the samovar bears a vacant cartooche. Hallmarked Scottish Silver (925), Edinburgh, year 1836 (E) & 1837 (F), Maker's mark AGW for A G Whighton.

Antique 19th Century Georgian exceptionally rare solid silver hot water samovar, inverted pear shaped on a round base, cast scroll feet, body profusely chased in relief with flowers, shell and acanthus leaves, applied with large twin leaf caped c-shaped handles, a hot water spout with a cast hinged shell handle and the large finial in complimentary style. The front of the samovar bears a vacant cartooche. All parts removable and original tube to contain the hot iron. Hallmarked Scottish Silver (925 standard), Edinburgh, year 1836 (E) & 1837 (F), Maker AGW (A G Whighton)
