Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, four year 1801 (F), Maker's mark AK (Abstinando King), the other two made to match the set in 1805 (K), Maker's mark RHSH (Robert & Samuel Hennell).

DESCRIPTION

Antique early-19th Century rare set of six George III Solid Silver table salts, each body of oval form with shaped reeded borders, parcel gilt, engraved with a small family crest.

The set features an identical design and is made for the same family, but two salts have been made 4 years later to match the set of four.

All pieces are Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, four year 1801 (F), Maker's mark AK (Abstinando King), the other two made to match the set in 1805 (K), Maker's mark RHSH (Robert & Samuel Hennell).

CONDITION

In Good Condition - Just general wear and gilding worn in places.
