DESCRIPTION

Antique 19th Century set of four Georgian Solid Silver Chambersticks, circular bases with cast gadroon borders and leaf-capped scroll handles, the detachable snuffers with leaf and knop finials, detachable nozzles also applied with a slanted gadrooned border, each part is engraved with a decorative family crest. A complete set of four large chambersticks with original nozzles and snuffers such this is particularly rare and valuable.

Each part is fully Hallmarked English silver (925 Standard), Sheffiels, year 1824 (a), Maker's mark TJ&NC (Thomas, James & Nathaniel Creswick, Creswick & Co).
