Each boat is engraved with a family crest. Hallmarked English Silver (925), London, one year 1767 (m), Maker's mark IP EW for John Parker I & Edward Wakelin.

Antique 18th Century pair of rare Georgian Solid Silver sauce boats, each exceptionally large and heavy, of typical helmet-form, cast leaf-capped scroll handle, applied cast gadrooned rim, on an oval foot with similar decoration. Each boat is engraved with a family crest.
