18th Century Georgian Silver coffee pot, impressively large and magnificent, baluster shaped, very crisp embossed decoration depicting floral festoons, leaf-capped handle and spout, the hinged lid terminates with a vase shaped finial. The side is engraved with a family crest for the McDonald family, with the motto "Nec Tempore, Nec Fato". Hallmarked English silver (925), London, year 1773 (S), Maker's mark I.C for probably John Carter II.

Antique 18th Century rare Georgian Solid Silver coffee pot, impressively large and magnificent (nearly twice as large as the usual coffee pots), baluster shaped, very crisp embossed decoration depicting floral festoons, leaf-capped handle and spout, the hinged lid terminates with a vase shaped finial. The side is engraved with a family crest for the McDonald family, with the motto "Nec Tempore, Nec Fato". Both parts are Hallmarked English silver (925 Standard), London, year 1773 (S), Maker's mark I.C (probably John Carter II).
