Antique 19th Century American solid silver cigar case. Crafted in the form of three cigars bundled together. Each cigar is sculpted with a lightly hammered texture and a subtle band suggesting a hand rolled wrapper. Two silver bands, textured to resemble ribbon, wrap around the cigars to "tie" them together. The case opens up to reveal a richly gilt finish. Hallmarked American solid silver ("STERLING"), year 1880, Made by Gorham. Stamped with inventory number "93".
