ANTIQUE 19thC FRENCH ORMOLU MOUNTED BRECHE VIOLETTE MARBLE FIREPLACE c.1870

A mid 19th century French Louis XV style fireplace in Breche Violette marble. The curved shaped, stop-fluted jambs surmounted by ormolu mounted carved paterae, frieze and moulded shelf. This superb fireplace adds elegance and sophistication to any interior, working well in a traditional, mid-century or even modern setting and oozes timeless style and quality.
