ANTIQUE 19thC GEORGIAN SOLID SILVER SAMOVAR, JOSEPH ANGELL II c.1821
19th Century Georgian silver hot water samovar, inverted pear shaped on a shaped square base, cast scroll feet, body profusely chased in relief with flowers, scrolls and acanthus leaves, applied with large twin leaf caped c-shaped handles, a hot water spout with a cast hinged scroll handle and the large fruit finial on lid.
Hallmarked English Silver (925), London, year 1821 (f), Maker JA for Joseph Angell.
