ANTIQUE 20thC AUSTRIAN SILVER PLATED & GLASS DUCK SHAPED CLARET JUG c.1920
20th Century Austrian silver plated mounted novelty claret jug modelled as a duck, green glass body, the wings forming the handles, hinged head set with glass eyes, stamped Austria. Such novelty claret jugs are rare and sought after. it is easy to imagine the appeal behind these objects which would have made wonderful items to wow their guests.
