£3,595.00

Antique late 19th Century pair of A Berlin KPM porcelain vases with covers, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship. Marked with a underglaze blue scepter and a crowned orb above "KPM" in underglaze red, this "Deckelvase" boasts a neoclassical design. Its urn-shaped body is adorned with gilt and painted colors, depicting a charming scene reminiscent of Boucher's style, featuring young lovers on the front and a bouquet of flowers on the reverse. Intricately detailed with a relief snake above acanthus leaves at the base and raised cabochons on the shoulders, the vase stands elegantly on a fluted circular pedestal base. Topping it all is a domed cover crowned with a pomegranate finial, adding a final touch of sophistication to this remarkable piece.
