20th Century German Silver figure modelled as a knight in full suits of armour, carved face beneath a hinged visor, sporting an axe and a shield applied with a king. The knight stands on a foliate-pierced pedestal base and the casting is extremely detailed and magnificent. Hallmarked with English silver import marks (925), London, year 1950 (P), Importer's mark "SW".

Stunning mid-20th Century German Solid Silver figure modelled as a knight in full suits of armour, carved face beneath a hinged visor, sporting an axe and a shield applied with a king. The knight stands on a foliate-pierced pedestal base and the casting is extremely detailed and magnificent.
The piece is typically German, probably Hanau (the knight figure is typical by Neresheimer & Sohne), the base is Hallmarked with English silver import marks (925 Standard), London, year 1950 (P), Importer's mark "SW".
