DESCRIPTION
Antique early 20th Century German exceptionally large and fine solid silver figure. Modelled as a knight in full suit and armour, sporting a mace on chain (32cm), retractable sword (32cm) and a large shield (20cm). This knight is beautifully adorned and fitted with an eagle on top of a cast helmet, which also has a retractable visor. The chestplate has a pair of knights shroud and helmet with a floral leaf pattern symmetrically across the entire piece, lower down there are two medieval dragons which were common in the Medival culture.
The details on the knights armour is incredibly crafted and is a real life replica of what a knight would've once looked like centuries ago. There are spurs attached to the knights shoes, this would've been used to direct the movement of a horse when riding. Hallmarked Dutch guarantee silver mark (835 standard), The Dutch guarantee mark dates to 1953.
