20th Century pair of German silver figures modelled as a knights in full suits of armour, carved face beneath a hinged visor, sporting a club and a shield chased with an eagle, it stands on a foliate-pierced pedestal base and the casting is extremely detailed. Hallmarked German silver (800 standard), Hanau, Maker's mark for Neresheimer & Sohne.

DESCRIPTION
Antique 20th Century pair of German solid silver figures modelled as a knights in full suits of armour, carved face beneath a hinged visor, sporting a club and a shield chased with an eagle, it stands on a foliate-pierced pedestal base and the casting is extremely detailed.
The knight is inspired by the Maximilian I monument in the Hofkirche, Innsbruck (please follow this link).
The pair is Hallmarked German silver (800 standard), Hanau, Maker's mark for Neresheimer & Co, one statue is further Hallmarked with English silver import marks (925 Standard), London, year 1913 (s), Importer's mark BHM (Berthold Hermann Muller).
CONDITION
In Great Condition - no damage, just general wear.
