20th Century German Silver figure modelled as a standing Owl, partially gilt and extremely heavy gauge. The statue is stunningly well-refined, very ornamental, realistically modelled in every small detail and the head is set with glass eyes. Hallmarked "925 Sterling" for 925 silver standard, and Germany, the piece bears a small Maker's or Importer's mark "F&SON Ltd".

Description

Antique 20th Century German Solid Silver figure modelled as a standing Owl, partially gilt and extremely heavy gauge. The statue is stunningly well-refined, very ornamental, realistically modelled in every small detail and the head is set with glass eyes. The piece is Hallmarked "925 Sterling" for 925 silver standard, and Germany, the piece bears a small Maker's or Importer's mark "F&SON Ltd". The piece probably dates to year 1930-40's.

CONDITION

 In Excellent Condition - no damage, just general wear.
