ANTIQUE 20thC GERMAN SOLID SILVER CHASED LARGE JEWELLERY BOX, F REUSSWIG c.1910
20th Century German Silver Jewellery box, impressevely large, heavy and decorative, standing on four cast scroll feet, each side is chased with a detailed scene representing playing and dancing cherubs, the cover is also applied with a partly pierced plaque with putti and grapevine. The box closes perfectly, the inside is gilt. Hallmarked German Silver (800), Hanau, Marks for Friedrich Reusswig.

Antique 20th Century German Solid Silver Jewellery box, impressevely large, heavy and decorative, standing on four cast scroll feet, each side is chased with a detailed scene representing playing and dancing cherubs, the cover is also applied with a partly pierced plaque with putti and grapevine. The box closes perfectly, the inside is gilt.
The base is Hallmarked German Silver (800 Standard), Hanau, Marks for Friedrich Reusswig, active in Hanau from 1902. This piece dates to year 1905-10.

In Great Condition - No damage, just general wear.
