19th Century German silver windmill cup, unusually large and heavy, in the style of the 17th and 18th Century example, the inverted cup chased with scrolling foliage and mythological figures, the top mounted with a working windmill (blow and the fans spin) and applied with various figures.
Hallmarked with German Hanau pseudo-marks, Maker (N & Flower) Gebruder Gutgesell.

Antique late-19th Century German solid silver windmill cup, unusually large and heavy, in the style of the 17th and 18th Century example, the inverted cup chased with scrolling foliage and mythological figures, the top mounted with a working windmill (blow and the fans spin) and applied with various figures. Hallmarked with German Hanau pseudo-marks, acid tested shows a 900+ standard, Maker (N & Flower) Gebruder Gutgesell (founded in 1883-1936)
