19th Century Victorian Silver three piece tea set, comprising of teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug and large tray. The set features a stunning Renaissance style, each piece of circular form embellished with an impressive original solid silver frieze depicting scrolling grapevine and lions, with masks bordered by cornucopia. The centre of the tray is chased with a scrolling foliate decoration and bears a crest. Great workmanship and design, very decorative and impressive set. Hallmarked English silver (925), London, the teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug year 1873 (s), the tray's cast border year 1883 (H), Maker's mark on each part but the centre of the salver S.S for Stephen Smith.

Antique 19th Century Victorian Solid Silver three piece tea set, comprising of teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug and large tray. The set features a stunning Renaissance style, each piece of circular form embellished with an impressive original solid silver frieze depicting scrolling grapevine and lions, with masks bordered by cornucopia. The centre of the tray is chased with a scrolling foliate decoration and bears a crest. Great workmanship and design, very decorative and impressive set. All pieces and all the cast friezes are fully Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, the teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug year 1873 (s), the tray's cast border year 1883 (H), Maker's mark on each part but the centre of the salver S.S (Stephen Smith, very important silversmiths specialized in very decorative patterns as Cellini or Teniers).
