19th Century Victorian Empire style solid silver & glass ewer, richly gilt, applied decorative bands with stylized leaves, cherub and masks in relief, scroll handle applied with a nymph feeding grape to a putto, the removable stopper is surmounted by a grapes finial. Hallmarked English silver (925), London, year 1857 (b), Maker's mark IF for John Wilmin Figg.

DESCRIPTION

Antique 19th Century Victorian Empire style solid silver & glass ewer, richly gilt, applied decorative bands with stylized leaves, cherub and masks in relief, scroll handle applied with a nymph feeding grape to a putto, the removable stopper is surmounted by a grapes finial.

All parts are Hallmarked English silver (925 Standard), London, year 1857 (b), Maker's mark IF (John Wilmin Figg).

CONDITION

In Great Condition - No damage, just general wear and partial loss to gilding.
