19th Century Victorian Scottish Silver tea kettle on a four feet burner stand, impressively large and heavy, the body is chased with scrolls and flowers, vacant cartouches, hinged cover terminating with a cast floral finial. The kettle rests on a four feet stand, applied foliage, fitted with a matched burner. Hallmarked Scottish silver (925), Edinburgh, kettle and stand year 1851 (u), Maker's mark JMc for James McKay.

Antique mid-19th Century Victorian Scottish Solid Silver tea kettle on a four feet burner stand, impressively large and heavy, the body is chased with scrolls and flowers, vacant cartouches, hinged cover terminating with a cast floral finial. The kettle rests on a four feet stand, applied foliage, fitted with a matched burner.

Each part is Hallmarked Scottish silver (925 Standard), Edinburgh, kettle and stand year 1851 (u), Maker's mark JMc (James McKay), the burner also Hallmarked Scottish silver (925 standard), Edinburgh, year 1870 (o), no maker's mark. 

CONDITION

In Great Condition - no damage, just general wear.
